Proper waakye, proper welcome.
Ghanaian waakye, a clean and welcoming space, and the kind of hospitality that brings you back tomorrow.
A true taste of Ghanaian hospitality.
A gentleman. Someone who carries himself well and treats people right.
That is the spirit behind Waakye Abrantie: Ghana's most-loved breakfast-to-dinner dish, prepared with pride and served with respect.
We took the waakye you grew up queuing for and gave it three homes, in Ayeduase, Patasi and TUC. A clean, air-conditioned dining room, generous leaf-lined trays, and a team that knows your order by the second visit.
Waakye is more than rice and beans.
It's a whole plate of textures, and we take every part seriously.
Waakye
Rice and black-eyed beans cooked with dried sorghum leaves, which give it that deep, earthy red-brown colour.
House shito
Our dark, smoky black pepper sauce, cooked slowly. Most guests ask for an extra pot.
Stew & wele
A slow-cooked tomato stew with tender beef and soft wele, spooned generously over the top.
Talia, gari & egg
Spaghetti, golden gari, a boiled egg, fresh salad, fried fish, sausage and plantain. You choose.
That first-bite feeling.
Whether it's your first plate of waakye or your thousandth, we want it to feel special. That comes down to a few things we never compromise on.
